Der Anschluss zur Autobahn Stuttgart - Singen/westlicher Bodensee liegt ebenso auf der Gemarkung Bondorf wie die Bahnstation der Linie Stuttgart - Singen - Zürich.
Die Erschließung des Gewerbegebietes „Am Römerfeld“, unmittelbar an der Bundesstraße 28 und Autobahn gelegen, führte dazu, dass Bondorf im Regionalplan als Gewerbeschwerpunkt ausgewiesen wurde. Auf ca. 20 Hektar des 24 Hektar großen Gewerbegebiets erstellt die Firma Kriegbaum ein Logistik-Zentrum, das zwischen- zeitlich von mehreren Logistikfirmen genutzt wird. Auf einem weiteren Grundstück wurde von der Fa. Kussmaul ein Logistik-Center errichtet. Ca. 2,3 ha befinden sich derzeit im Eigentum der Gemeinde. Bei Bedarf kann das Gewerbegebiet erweitert werden.
Bondorf hat ein überdurchschnittliches Angebot an Geschäften und Dienstleistungen des täglichen Bedarfs. Im Ort und in der reizvollen Umgebung bestehen viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten, die durch die Erstellung eines 27-Loch-Golfplatzes noch erweitert wurden.
