Living

Why is life so good in the Stuttgart Region? Not just because of its 1,720 average hours of annual sunshine. From hip hop festivals to its award-winning opera house, arts festivals and musicals – the Stuttgart Region is one of Germany’s leading cultural urban areas.

It has a lively atmosphere thanks to approximately 2.7 million people from roughly 180 countries around the world, and its countryside is equally diverse, with vineyards, castles and palaces adorning the landscape. Its proximity to the Swabian Alb and the Black Forest means that there are lots of relaxing places to take a trip to. The Stuttgart Region thus offers fantastic opportunities for filling your leisure time with cultural offerings, events and restaurants.
