We, the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation (WRS), see ourselves as a central point of contact for companies in the city of Stuttgart and the five surrounding districts.

We publicize the qualities of the Stuttgart Region and promote the economic development of the location with numerous projects and offers.

The WRS was founded in 1995. As a subsidiary of the Verband Region Stuttgart and with other shareholders, we are a publicly funded company. Our work focuses on the following topics:

Supporting investments and relocations
Qualify, attract and retain skilled workers
Promoting entrepreneurship and creativity
Shaping technological change and digitalization

We cooperate closely with companies, research institutions, universities, municipal business development agencies, chambers of commerce and other stakeholders.
